How to watch Starcraft Brood War and Starcraft 2

2022.  For watching Starcraft: Brood War or Starcraft 2 (Star 1 or Star 2, respectively), what I suggest is trying to catch casts or commentary from Starcraft pros or semi-pros.
I will try to keep updating this and add other pros, if I see them cast matches or have tournament watch parties.

Starcraft 1
ASL (AfreecaTV StarLeague) is currently the eminent Starcraft 1 tournament.  Scan and Nyoken provide casts of ASL via StarCastTV.  Scan plays terran and has competed in ASL.  (There were also a few casts, where Legoman joined Scan.)

Starcraft 2
GSL (Global StarCraft II League) Code S is the most prestigious Starcraft 2 tournament in Korea.   Slightly less prestigious is GSL Super Tournament.  Foreign Starcraft 2 pros will sometimes have GSL watch parties on their twitch channels.  You put on the Starcraft 2 match on youtube and mute it.  Then you sync up the timer on youtube with the timer on the GSL watch party hosted by the twitch streamer.   Pros who often have GSL watch parties are Lambo and Harstem.  Other pros, such as Elazer, Kelazhur, Spirit, Special, and others, will often join their GSL watch parties too.  They have held watch parties for other tournaments too, such as World Team League (team tournament organized by scboy).

If we are fortunate, some tournaments will have pros cast matches.  Lambo and Harstem have also officially casted Starcraft 2 tournaments.

Pros will also sometimes cast tournament games or matches from replays or do replay analysis.  Keep an eye on their twitch or youtube channels.
